Do I need to stay in the Hotel Blocks listed on this website?
Absolutely not! There are hundreds of hotels in Washington D.C. at various locations and price points. Public transportation and ridesharing apps are widely used and will open up options all around the DMV region (DC-MD-VA). We have listed a few examples (in addition to the blocks themselves) in the "Hotel Blocks" tab of this website.
There is a ~2.5 hr gap between the Wedding Mass and cocktail hour. What should I do in between?
There are many options available for you in this window. Numerous bars and restaurants are conveniently located near the Cathedral and the reception. Guests may take the time to freshen up as well. Please refer to the "Things to Do" tab for some of our favorite spots in D.C. to visit in your free time.
Is there transportation provided?
The Cathedral and venue are less than a mile apart. We will be providing transportation between these locations. Ridesharing apps and the metro are also convenient options. Please see the "Transportation" tab for more specific information.
